Bow Bridge early morning panorama

Bow Bridge early morning panorama I had arrived in New York the evening before and wasn't city wise with regards to the sheer size of the city. I had set an early alarm - despite the deepest desire to sleep long and deep - because I knew that it was to be a great morning light. In getting the image, I had started to walk from my hotel but soon realised that I didn't have a chance to getting there before 9am let alone sunrise. So a taxi was hailed and a rapid and successful journey ensued. It was early and it soon became obvious that access to the combination of best view and angle of light was going to be fleeting. The night before, I had attempted my first ever panorama and so this turned out to be my second ever panorama image. By sheer luck, I also managed to take the images with no pedestrians / runners / photographers and I was delighted with the resulting panorama. For some strange reason, whilst this bridge is so well used in films, to me it means the music of Mozart and the weather and lack of people just seemed to enhance this feeling.
