“Our highest secret is to identify ourselves openly and honestly.” It begins in the shadow. Invisible. Like most transformations. Who are we – really? Is what others see the whole of us? Do we have to choose just one face, one role, one name? Can we decide for ourselves who we are – without fear of judgment or rejection? We live in systems that love certainty. You’re meant to be this, not that. A profession, a gender, a title, a label. But what if we’re not just one thing? What if we are multiplicity — and becoming? This photographs — are not just a crystals. They are souls cracking open, stepping into the light. It is a story of inner light that — though dimmed — never went out. And which now dares to emerge. The photographs become a language of the soul — quiet, yet clear — meant to stop, open, transform, and — in the best case — heal. Colors carry emotions. Black carries beginnings. Cracks reveal truth. A visual manifesto for those who don’t fit in one box. Identity as a PROCESS — not a LABEL. Letting the self be — and giving yourself permission to love, create, and share from that place of truth. The crystal skin is both a shield and a threshold — fragile, yet luminous — where transformation begins. This project does not seek perfection. It seeks truth. It invites us to look at identity not as a label, but as a complex, living structure — fluid like light, layered like the skin of a crystal. It is a visual story of the true self emerging from beneath layers of social masks, norms, and expectations. Through microphotography of hand-created crystals and signature post-processing, the artist explores transformation, the hidden inner light, and the courage to remain authentic and stay true to the self. Hold on to your soul, to your inner light.”
