Brooklyn Bridge detail during sunset En route to a pre-planned pano image of the Brooklyn Bridge, I stopped briefly during my route march to the far side of the bridge. I had only arrived 3 hours previously from the UK so I was both jet-lagged and somewhat taken aback by the sheer scale of the city. (I have lived in many cities in my time but New York seemed to dwarf all others!) So I was on a forced march to get to the planned location on time as my phone weather app suggested few possibilities for weather this good for the next week - this was the night! I wanted to move on to avoid missing the light but I got the impression that I was missing an image so I zoomed in and saw this view - hand held through necessity (light was fading fast - I was struck by the detail of people and cars on the bridge and knew this was worth the interruption to my journey.
