Brooklyn Bridge pano at sunset My flight had arrived from the UK just 3 hours before I took this picture. Having booked into my hotel I grabbed my kit and set off at the pace of a military route march (taking me back a few years!) and still I struggled to get to the bridge on time. A few. minutes previously I had made a decision to deviate to Manhattan rather than Brooklyn, as something told me that the Brooklyn Bridge was the image to capture rather than to take images from. It proved a lucky choice as my phone app predicted arrival day to be the best night for sunset images and it proved absolutely correct. This was the first ever panorama that I captured. I have taken a few photos in my time, but I've never previously had any experience in taking a panorama image. So I decided to give it a go. How pleased I was - this is the sum total of 9 images - taken with crossed fingers and the knowledge that it was worth a go given the glorious image that I anticipated could be possible if I got it right. I feel that the compilation captures the scale and the grandeur that presented that evening and the light was truly magical.
