Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges at sunrise

Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges at sunrise My main image for sunrise was Washington Street with the classic view but I wanted to get down to the water's edge to see if I could capture a unique angle on the bridge(s). After the rush to get to the Washington Street view - I was keen just to take stock and engage in the planned day in a relaxed fashion. There were just a few people there and it was fun to set up with no hassle - although care needed to be taken with the flotsam and jetsam that was evident on the shore! The peace of the moment was disconcerting, knowing that just a few yards away, people were racing to work and jostling for subway space. However, the light was entrancing and moving on with the day proved more difficult than expected.
