One of the most unique aspects of Iceland is certainly the particular presence of volcanoes that with their destructive activity shape the landscape leading to the birth of lush vegetation composed mainly by the centenary mosses of Icelandic. Mosses that are as durable as fragile, to the point that stepping on one would destroy it, for this reason the Icelandic government has created special paths to allow everyone to admire them.
