At the bus stop outside the station, a man stands under the light with a drink pouch in his hand. He raises the pack to his mouth and takes a long sip, gripping it tightly as if not to waste a drop. His shirt is wrinkled and his bags hang loosely from his shoulders, but his focus is only on the drink. Behind him, the city is blurred with store lights and passing people. It is an ordinary action, seen every day on Tokyo’s streets, yet in this moment it becomes the center of the frame. The simple act of drinking under the night light turns into a clear reminder of the human presence within the city.
