Working in a traditional way in a traditional job - relying on the sun in a sustainable method of producing salt. The photograph shows a single individual working at the salt flats which are a system of ditches, channels, tanks and evaporation ponds to get salt in Aveiro, Portugal on a day where the weather wasn't particularly conducive to evaporating the water.
