Catching the Arch Islands at sunset, as part of a two-week photography tour of New Zealand's South Island. A magical location, I've shot the islands several times before as a fine art long exposure, but I was never happy with the results. Making use of more traditional landscape photography techniques, I used the beach grasses as foreground, while New Zealand's common sea breeze adds atmosphere to the background.
