My photographic work centers on the theme of "Memory and Traces." In his memoir, Buñuel wrote that memory is a condensed force, a source, an emotion, and even an act—without it, we are nothing. The scenes deeply rooted in my childhood memories: the mottled old low-rise buildings, the country paths used as drying grounds, the cracked walls, the river winding through the mist, the wildflowers growing freely in the sun, the vine-covered wire fences, the dim yet warm light bulbs… These are both traces of time and vessels of nostalgia. They are imprints of another era, recognized and discovered as a medium. For me, this is also an exploration of collective memory.
