WHEN TWO ORMORE ARE GATHERED TOGETHER

These pictures represent the earliest beginnings of my work in Group Portraiture. The concept began in New York City and after full exploration in NYC took me all over the country. But as I am a native New Yorker I keep coming back to photograph in my beloved city. Many of the photographs made for WHEN TWO OR MORE ARE GATHERED TOGETHER were made in New York City. New York is a place that breeds creativity and that is where my first book on groups was born. I have never stopped photographing in 'my' city and have done many series of works here including many commercial assignments, personal projects and commercials. While I have traveled to most places in the world and lived in some, I always come back to the city I love - it's in my bloodstream.
