Safiyyah is known as "The Hijab Boxer." she is a trend setter, a breakthrough in our modern multicultural society and an incredible inspiration to women from all faiths, walks of life and backgrounds. She won't be held back by sterotypes, cultural restrictions or physical obstacles and it was a pleasure just to meet her, let alone photograph her. Boxing cna be a lonely sport and you need to be mentally strong just to train, let alone to fight. She has a great team behind her and a great future ahead of her. She is an ambassador for a number of brands and will be a modern day icon, of that I am sure.
