The tree occupies in all the cultures of the world a great symbolic and spiritual importance. Each variety of trees has its own symbolism. I wanted to remove the tree from its environment to be able to look at it, to admire it in its purest form to allow it to reveal its character as in a portrait. Portraits of Trees is an ongoing Project.
