Venetian Rains

There is nothing like skipping through puddles in the rain to create the feeling of being a kid again. Memories of rain can be of particularly pleasant times. Such as, sharing an umbrella with a stranger or walking the dog in an unexpected downpour. On simple rainy days, roots are nourished, rivers are refreshed, and rainbows often peak out following the shower. Certainly, rain to me is something to be delighted in, not to be sad about. Rain will always remind me of a vacation to Venice, where while searching for the perfect cappuccino, we danced through the rains merrily. And happily, located the perfect cappuccino to warm us for the ensuing excursion through the rains.
