When Muslim schoolgirls leave their class and roam the streets of Stone Town in Zanzibar, the silky fabrics of their veils give the impression of a ghostly ballet that makes the wave, generating a stir of unanswered questions. Strolling through the alleys of Zanzibar is already an experience in itself. When the school bells ring to announce the lunch break and you find yourself caught in the middle of girls 'and boys' school outings, then you have a real experience. The graceful and subtle movements, the furtive, elusive and modest glances of the students and the silent but insistent surveillance of the adults present really make one think of a great artistic ballet dealing with modesty and the unspoken.
