Looking at love and permanence, I created this image using wax coating the subjects to show a moment frozen in time. The subjects posed in an antique bed in an old home where I grew up as I layered hot wax onto them and the bed. Symbolizing our desire to hold the things we love close, and to freeze the things we love in time, I am interested in examining the ephemeral nature of love and attachment.
