Located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and named in honour of Louis Riel, the 'Esplanade Riel Pedestrian Bridge', was completed in 2003. My vision was to enhance its overall beauty while maintaining focus on the center-piece pylon, its supporting cables and the plaza. Blending multiple long-exposure shots gave me the overall serene look I wanted while maximizing the depths of lights and shadows. Showcasing the 'Canadian Museum for Human Rights' in the background was tantamount.
