On D-Day (June 6th 1944) the Canadian Troops landed at the Juno Beach in Normandy (France). This was the outset of the victory of the Allied Forces over Nazi Germany. Today several exhibitions as well as some pieces of art are displayed on Juno Beach to commemorate the operation and the soldiers who lost their lives there.
