One of the most important symbols on the international waters of the Bosphorus are the fishermen on their tiny traditional boats after their daily modest taking. Due to the ever-increasing international trade traffic and the rapidly endangered fish diversity in the Bosphorus, these fishermen and their tradition will soon disappear. Wild capitalism will destroy one of the most beautiful images of our visual memory from Istanbul, as it does all over the world.
