This image was captured in the Masai Mara, Kenya while I was creating my portfolio for a coffee table book. It was early morning and at the break of dawn, in beautiful golden light through layers of myst I spotted this male lion from a distance, dragging his pray through the Savannah. At my request my guide positioned himself a few meters ahead in the direction he was walking and we waited for the lion to move into my frame. My object was to blend the dust from the drag, the breath of the lion and the layers of myst to create this piece of wildlife art.
