An image from the vast Mojave desert region in Death Valley California, USA. Formed from the eroding mountains as a source of sand, these grains are carried by the wind until they meet a convergence of airflow conditions and mountainous obstacles, then accumulating to form dunes. Constantly shifting and reshaping, carved from the elements, pure lines and geometric forms are being continually created by natures hand. These incredible works of naturally sculpted art are accentuated at sunrise and sunset as the patterns, symmetries, ripples and edges are bought to life by the contrast of the shadows, casting endless flows of tranquillity.
