TomiFuku is the newest Maiko (trainee Geisha) at the teahouse. Originally from Okinawa and at only 16 years old, she's full of energy and charm. The Geisha community in Kyoto was badly hit by the pandemic. Jobs are hard to come by and the upcoming recession are not making things better. Undeterred by the difficult circumstances, TomiFuku gives her best in everything. Her positivity and energy is definitely what the industry needs. This is my very first meeting with TomiFuku, and my very first portrait for her.
