“Trieste Paint It Black” Nella fotografia viene catturata l'imponente Piazza Unità d'Italia, all'imbrunire, vista dal Molo Audace dove i triestini adorano passeggiare quando la bora lo permette. Il titolo della fotografia è stato ispirato dal brano storico dei Rolling Stones, Paint It Black, dove l'autore Mick Jagger prese a sua volta ispirazione nel testo Ulisse dello scrittore James Joyce che iniziò a scrivere proprio quando visse a Trieste, in particolare nel verso: “I have to turn my head until my darkness goes”. - The photograph captures the imposing Piazza Unità d'Italia, at dusk, seen from the Molo Audace where the people of Trieste love to walk when the bora allows it. The title of the photograph was inspired by the Rolling Stones' historical song, Paint It Black, where the author Mick Jagger in turn took inspiration from the text Ulysses by the writer James Joyce which he began to write when he lived in Trieste, in particular in the verse: “I have to turn my head until my darkness goes”.
