Just a few weeks after purchasing my first DSLR I was heading to the states for an East Coast adventure, where I soon landed at the Big Apple. 24 hours isn't a whole lot of time to see New York, but my whistle-stop tour led me to some stunning and iconic locations throughout Manhattan, and later Brooklyn. As I turned down Washington Street I came across one of the most iconic sights of all... I eagerly approached the Washington Bridge; the crowds parted and the sun ignited the brownstone walls. Hastily, with my first sight of the glossy yellow school bus approaching, I stepped out and took my shot.
