The Phoenix is a mythical bird that is said to live for several hundred years before being consumed by fire and rising again from its own ashes. It is associated with resurrection, renewal, and immortality. This photograph is taken with several flashes at slow speeds, it has some computer retouching to make the wake look better, which reminds me of the phoenix rising from the flames. La Laguna.
