When it rains on the small island of Holbox off the northern coast of Mexico, it comes down with a fury. The streets quickly flood, the people run for shelter, but life goes on, especially for the churro stand on the corner. The fire of the grill rages despite the wind and rain, and the ultimate comfort food is served hot to anyone brave enough to duck under what little cover the cart provides from the storm.
