The basalt cliffs of Ribeira da Janela rise off the northeast coast of the Atlantic island of Madeira. They tower eerily out of the raging sea in the light sunset. Thanks to the long exposure with neutral density filter, the water and the spray appear like mist floating through the large stones on the beach.
