The rustic South Tyrolean Dolomites are a popular travel destination. I was on a hike on the Alpe di Siusi in spring. In the evening when most of the tourists were in the valley, I went on a photo tour and found these beautiful old wooden huts in front of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto Group. The two mountain peaks are one of the landmarks of South Tyrol and stand out beautifully from the lush green meadows at sunset. The two wooden alpine huts made a nice contrast. Using a 35mm prime lens at f/11 I was able to capture this beautiful scenery that reflects the idyllic yet rustic charm of this beautiful alpine landscape.
