During the Middle Ages, Uzbek architecture contributes greatly to the development of Islamic architecture and flourishes as a result of being a central link in Silk Road. Notable architectural centers include Samarkand, Bukhara, and Tashkent. Various ancient architectural masterpieces have survived, including palaces, mausoleums, mosques, and minarets. Especially colorful mosaics, religious symbols, and abstract geometrical patterns characterize Uzbek architecture. In the summertime, the sun shines on these spectacular, remarkable buildings, which makes me feel even more fascinated and amazed!
