During my roadtrip through Vermont in the fall, I spent a couple of nights near the Chittenden Reservoir. The first evening I scouted the site and planned my sunrise shoot for the next morning. I arrived before the first light and made my way to the location. With "Autumn Awakening", I waited for the sun to rise enough to light up the island of trees and capture the stunning autumn colors. The morning mist provided a dramatic backdrop to what was a gorgeous morning.
