During my roadtrip through Vermont in the fall, I spent a couple of nights near the Chittenden Reservoir. The first evening I scouted the site and planned by sunrise shoot for the next morning. I arrived before the first light and made my way to the lake. My goal was to capture the early morning mist and the vibrant autumn colors at sunrise. With "Vermont's Lavender Haze", I set up for twilight where the mist beautifully framed the vivid colors of the trees and created the morning's lavender haze.
