Typically the escalator in the railway station of Basel (Switzerland) is pretty busy. However around lunch time on a Sunday there are only few people. In this picture I liked two contrasts: on the one hand the upright posture of the young guy compared to the old man who had to carefully look where he steps and on the other hand the two people fronting the camera versus the two backs on the escalator below surrounding them.
