This work focuses on the symbolic use if postures and shapes, the play of shadows/light, textures. The scenes I photograph are made up of few elements. Normally a single subject, lots of negative space, no accessories (or rarely). The essential meaning of the message is transmitted by the isolated subject. I usually depict nude people, because nudity is an allegory of our true self. For me, it's the best way to describe the human beings' identity and emotions in an authentic way, whether in their greatness or their weakness, without any kind of disguise.
