Feathers

During the lock-down most of the models were unavailable or restrictions were in place preventing many photographers of doing their hobby and take people photography. In my case I just decided to jump in front of my camera and start doing self-portraiture. This also helped me overcome my camera shyness. Nowadays I may find some accessories that i think they would look nice in a picture, and I will explore that idea and by the end I do have a greater sense of accomplishment, since I do have to pick an outfit, do the make-up and setup lights and backgrounds by myself. This image belongs to my collection of self-portraits that I have started to create during the covid-19 lock-down. I have found out how joyful it is to create personas by experimenting with accessories and make-up and for that I’m also thankful to be living in Switzerland, because there is a work-life balance in this country that gives me time for this experimentation.
