‘Fatal Attraction’

In the ‘Clay-series’ – I had those two marvellous sisters, Axan and Alix, both most talented dancers, who did a clay-shoot in my studio. Concept was ‘attract and repel ‘. I prepared some poses they could do during the shoot, and asked also the girls to think about what this concept could result in moves, in actions, in positions between the. And holy … They did so well … none of what I prepared had to be used. They made a whole choreography themselves. I was amazed !!! What I knew but noticed even more now, is the confidence, the love those sisters have in each other…. It is quite stunning, charming … My heart melted. And Magali, mum of Axan and Alix. Such a nice person she was, so friendly, so motivating her daughters ... I still have so nice memories of that shoot. Magali told me one day she wouldn't live much longer anymore, as she had terrible cancer. In the meanwhile she is gone, leaving her daughters and husband full of sad but also so amazingly beautiful memories. This award entering post is a tribute to this marvelous mother she was. Thank you for coming to my studio you all. I will always remember this. ... Just for the little story: this picture hangs in my hall of fame at home.
