Sitting on the edge of a stream, surrounded by the silence and the magic of the Great Bear Rainforest, a rustling of branches brought my camera to my eye. Seconds later, I would experience one of the most powerful and emotional moments of my life. She appeared, the fabled Spirit Bear, as if emerging from a dream. I could hardly believe this was real. A feeling I've never felt before washed over me, there is magic in the world and I was witnessing it.
