Emotions beating at flamenco rhythm

This series is part of a larger project of limited edition fine art photographs taken during live flamenco performances between 2020 and 2023 in France and Spain. The aim is to represent the universal language of emotions through flamenco dance in a two-step between light and emotion. Dance is a way of expression that can channel and liberate emotions, capable of expressing them unfiltered and transmitting them even to those unfamiliar with dance. An artistic approach that, through dance and photography, aims not only to capture emotions, but also to convey them, and to sensitize viewers to recognize their emotions, to accept them, to give them space, to experience them without barriers. The photographs are presented in black and white, contributing to the contrast and intensity of the emotions portrayed. The absence of color also serves as a metaphor for the necessity of facing emotions with sincerity and honesty, rather than being distracted by the constant pressures of the world. Overall, the project seeks to explore the power of dance and photography in expressing and experiencing emotions without barriers.
