MARVELS

The haunting beauty of nature reclaiming abandoned spaces... The 'MARVELS' series reflects on: "How will abandoned places look, when forces of nature reclaim what once was lost... Because of mankind, animals have been pushed to live in the most abandoned regions of the earth. In search of places where men are rarer than animals. Shall the buildings be a place of comfort and shelter against the crude forces who retook them?" This series was made in collaboration with Yoerie Custers, who photographed the abandoned locations, and Cheraine Collette, responsible for the concept, animal/wildlife photography, composition, and editing. To create a thought-provoking visual narrative that underscores the resilience of nature and the importance of preserving our historical and cultural heritage.
