I asked Pearl to join me in the studio for What Is Beauty shoot. We were both going through stuff, and emotions were high. At one point, I suggested something, and she said, "I'm feeling the opposite." Just then, some sad tunes came on, and tears started rolling down her face.⁠ ⁠ I kept shooting, tears in my eyes too. Couldn’t see a thing through the tears myself. After that intense moment, we ended up laughing so hard. That shoot was more than just photos; it was real, raw emotion. It's funny how sometimes we need both – a good cry and a big laugh.
