A small group of buffalo had broken away from the main herd, and started to swim across the channel, so I focussed on them as they swam in front of the boat. I suddenly noticed the terrified expression on all their faces and shot of a small burst of shots! Clearly, they knew that the presence of many, large Nile crocodiles in that area spelled huge danger, and their expressions really gave this image it’s punchy, ominous mood!
