After getting onto the river very early in the morning, before the wind started, the water was like a sheet of glass, without a ripple. As we slowly cruised along the river looking for subjects to photograph, I spotted this single hippo foraging on some water grass, and after getting right down to water level, I could see the water droplets falling, which just added that much sparkle to this delightful image of the hippo just enjoying its morning snack.
