Due to the ever-present Nile crocodile, that live in and next to water, all animals, with the exception of elephants, are extremely cautious when they come down to drink, as Nile crocodiles account for many deaths as they are carnivorous. (aka: Meat eaters) I watched very quietly as this baboon cautiously approached the water, scanning for crocodiles, and any danger. It went down to put it’s face into the water to drink, stopped, and then looked straight at me, as if to say “I am watching you”
