Visual Freefall

Still photography cameras are the magic boxes that capture a moment of time for the viewer to behold and contemplate. Not wanting to do a straightforward style of shooting I created a multi-plane levels of plexi glass with room in between to place my objects. These included old cameras, a pocket watch and a magnifying glass. All tools that represent a way of focusing on that moment in time. Using a stepladder I was able to aim my camera down to focus on said objects while making sure my lighting didn't cause complications in reflections. I rather liked the feeling that they were all in free fall when in actuality the objects in question were not.
