Definition of a mask is a covering for all or part of a face, worn as a disguise, or to amuse or terrify other people. In ancient Egypt, where cats were worshipped, one would honor the cat goddess Bastet, who represented love, health, motherhood, and earthly joys. To pay homage I found this child mask of a lioness and set it upon a mannequin then proceeded to solarize the image to accentuate the mystery.
