The Dune

One of my latest adventures led me to spend several days in the desert, in search of new photographic inspiration. Being alone in a place far from any form of civilisation, and far from people, was a magical experience that made me fall in love with this immense expanse of sand. What touched me most was the plasticity of the dunes, which are so perfect that they appear to have been carved by an artist, and the fact that I could find an almost infinite amount of inspiration. Even after walking for kilometres, the desert in front of you continues, always the same and yet always different. Pictured here is a dune bathed in the last rays of the sun, its profile silhouetted against a much larger dune that has already gone into shadow.
