Utah’s first national park shows off the beauty and uniqueness of Utah. There are many paths to travel and the drive from Bryce Canyon to Zion is an unforgettable experience. The sandstone builds along the beautiful drive with tunnels that lead to an inaugural landscape like you have entered a movie set. The massive sandstone cliffs of cream, pink and red soar into a brilliant blue sky that is filled with beautiful colors at sunset and sunrise. The enchanting land in the park will sweep you a way to enjoy a break from the rest of the world and take in all of the beauty Mother Nature has to offer. This was the National Park that made us annual park pass holders and will have us continue to support the National Park system the rest of our lives. We are thankful for the parks and all they have to offer. We read about the Watchman before journeying to the park and found ourselves watched over during our stay. A walk along Watchman trail for sunset offers breathtaking views of the park through an easy, flat hike that starts with the Virgin River. The Virgin River started crafting its way through the park a bajillion years ago and journeys with you as you explore the park and along the path if you come and go from the Las Vegas area. Watchman Trail is said to be one of the easiest in the park and is easy to access near the visitor center. The trail was lightly trafficked and offered some beautiful pictures. If you follow the full trail it is 3 miles out and back and well maintained. The trail provided great views of the majestic Zion National Park.
