Blue poison dart frogs generally have blue skin with black patches. The skin is a deep sapphire color in the dark, and directly phosphorescent in the light, making people shocked by its unusual color. Its body length is between 3 and 4 centimeters, and its lifespan can reach 5 years. However, this frog must not be touched because its skin glands can produce strong poison, which is fatal to most people and animals.
