A Dreamwalk in a Winter Forest

I dreamed I was walking through a forest covered in white snow. I followed the tracks in the snow that were visible on a path. Only the bark of the trees and branches that were not covered in snow formed a visible contrast in the white winter landscape. Everything seemed like a dream, an illusion or a fantasy. Was it reality or a dream? Did I hear the crunching of the fresh snow under my feet or was it just my imagination, an illusion? The mind sometimes plays strange tricks, I know that only too well! Silence. Was it really a dream? I opened my eyes and stood in the forest I dreamed of. It was so quiet, the snow seemed to swallow up all the noise. Sometimes it's just nice to close your eyes and sharpen your senses. Breathe in the cool winter air, smell the forest, and hear the snow falling from the trees. And suddenly you see an image in front of you, even though your eyes are closed. A dream
