Exploring the imagery of the bridge as a living, conscious thing inspired by the Hart Crane poem “The Bridge” conceiving the bridge as “sleepless’ and spanning and connecting oceans and prairies, making the bridge into more than a thing of bricks and steel. From centuries old stone build arches though iron trestle rail structures to modern cable and steel bridges, celebrating the beauty and context of their various flowing geometric forms.
