Koshigoe is a small fishing town nestled between the bustling tourist spots of Kamakura City. Mr. Yoneda, the owner of "Koshigoe Coffee," has been running a cafe here by himself for many years. After living overseas for about 10 years, he decided to open his own shop. He was the first person I introduced myself to when I moved to this town. On weekends, the cafe is crowded with locals, but it always has a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Before long, reading a book with a cafe latte here became my weekend pleasure. One day, as I looked over the counter into the kitchen, I saw him illuminated by the soft light streaming in from the window. How beautiful it is to be someone who lives with such determination. The sight took my breath away, and I felt glad that he had chosen this place. Each time I come here, feeling at ease, I am also reminded of my own resolve to live honestly and with strength.
